Effective August 18, 2026. Lunch Bag is operated by Feline Union. This policy explains the information used by the Lunch Bag website and Android app.

Information we use

The public daily capsule can be read and heard without an account. If you subscribe to email updates, we store your email address, consent status, delivery preferences, timezone, and delivery history. If you enter Lunch League, Google sign-in provides your verified email address and may provide your profile name and picture. We do not receive your Google password.

Lunch League stores your quiz activity, points, votes, and submitted food photograph. Uploaded images are re-encoded to remove embedded metadata and privately screened before approved entries appear publicly. Lunch Bag Plus uses Google Play purchase tokens and subscription status to confirm access; payment-card details remain with Google.

Why we use it

We use this information to deliver requested emails, authenticate participants, operate quizzes and Lunch League, moderate submissions, prevent abuse, verify Plus access, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising.

Service providers

Google provides sign-in, Android distribution, and Play Billing. Brevo delivers requested email. Automated image screening helps review Lunch League photographs. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services under their own terms.

Storage and deletion

Session cookies are used for sign-in and Plus access. Participant sessions expire after 90 days. Records are retained only while needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may unsubscribe from any Lunch Bag email. You may also request access to or deletion of your account information and submitted content.

Your choices

Google access can be revoked from your Google Account. Plus subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Google Play. Browser storage and offline downloads can be cleared from your device. Deleting information may remove access to features that require it.
